Design Sales Consultant - Scottsdale

Paddy O'Furniture is a Luxury retail company serving a discerning clientele in the outdoor industry.  Paddy O’ Exterior Designers is in the business of creating lifestyles that enhance our customer’s outdoor living and quality of life.

We are currently seeking customer oriented salespeople with demonstrated strong design and furniture sales experience. Candidates must have a strong desire and passion to deliver an outstanding retail experience to every customer. 

If you are a highly energized, positive, experienced salesperson with furniture and design skills that has the desire to learn, is an extremely driven independent individual that is self-motivated and has an entrepreneurial spirit this could be your next home.
 
With a generous commission-based plan, your income is limited only by the amount of effort you apply with every customer.   We offer an array of benefits including 401k with discretionary company match, Health Insurance holidays, sick pay and two weeks vacation after one year.
Our current Design Sales Consultants average $63,000 per year.  Your income is limited only by the amount of effort you apply.

Requirements include

Education:  Associate (two year) degree or Design certificate equivalent

Experience:  Proven success in sales.  In-home design service and design presentation ability is preferable

Requirements:
•    Demonstrated ability in room design, space planning and color coordination
•    Must have creative design ability, flair for color, knowledge of fashion furniture trends and styles
•    Desire, initiative and skills to work in a competitive commissioned sales environment
•    Must have a proved track record of high close ratios from previous jobs
•    Sketch every customers outdoor area, or conduct a home plan visit
•    Greet customers to establish rapport and lasting relationships with company
•    Extemporary communication skills
•    Work within team environment
•    Professional dress and appearance a must
•    Computer skills i.e.: Outlook, Excel and Word
•    Participate in company training program and continued learning and development
•    Excellent writing skills
•    Must have a valid drivers license with a good driving record
